YAPP Auditions
YAPP auditions are being held this weekend, Saturday, October 8th from 12:00 - 3:00 pm, and Monday, October 10th from 7:30 - 9:00 pm in the MAC Recital Hall. Please log in to your account and register for a time via the calendar. If you are not a current student and would like to participate in YAPP, please register HERE or contact the office (mac.officestaff@gmail.com) with any questions.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 2 songs (at least 1 classical piece)
* Monologue (90 seconds or less)
* Audition Application
* 2 Recommendation Forms

YAPP
The Young Artist’s Preparatory Program is Cincinnati’s premier youth apprentice program designed for exceptional vocal performers between 14 and 19 years of age and taught exclusively through the Musical Arts Center. One of the only high school opera programs in the country, the nine month program is designed to develop and enhance the individual young vocal performer through improvisation, mock auditions, movement, musical preparation and dramatic interpretation in a small ensemble setting. Auditions are usually held in late summer. The program begins in October and concludes with an annual Showcase in June. Please call the MAC office for any additional information.
