A 2008 graduate of Northern Kentucky University, Nick received a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance.
At NKU, he studied with Richard Jensen (Cincinnati Symphony and Pops Orchestras) and Scott Lang (Cincinnati
Chamber Orchestra), and performed with many on-campus ensembles.
Professionally, he has performed with
the Hamilton-Fairfield Symphony Orchestra, the Clermont Philharmonia, and in the pit orchestra for award-winning
shows at Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati and Know Theatre. Nick also performs regularly with the cover band Corner
Pocket, and with the SoCalyptics, a 4-piece steel drum band.
As an active music educator, he has assisted with marching band at several area high schools, and is now
in his third year at Colerain High School instructing the front pit ensemble for both the marching band
and indoor drumline, resulting in both these ensembles earning excellent ratings at the regional, state
and national levels.
