Lincoln Chapman

Master Voice Teacher

Lincoln Chapman, Baritone, has been a voice instructor in the Cincinnati area since 1995. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Music, Voice Performance, from the Bowling Green State University in 1984; and his Master of Music in Voice Performance in 1986, from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

Mr. Chapman has been a finalist in the Opera Columbus Competition and has received the Beamon-Hough Award for excellence in the Performing Arts. As a soloist, he has appeared with the Spoleto Festival of Australia, the Connecticut Grand Opera, the Florida Arts Celebration, Toledo Opera, Charleston Symphony, and many others. His roles have included Robbins from Porgy and Bess, Prince Pao from The Chalk Circle, and Canio from I Pagliacci.

Lincoln joined the Musical Arts Center faculty in 1997. He has been Director of the Young Artists Preparatory Program at MAC since 2002, Co-Director of YAPP from 1998-2002, and a voice teacher at the School for Creative and Performing Arts since 1995.
