Karl Resnik

Master Voice Teacher

Karl Resnik has been teaching voice since 1973 while he was in graduate studies at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. As a lecturer on singing, he has given workshops and clinics from Alaska to Florida; presented lectures at universities and colleges throughout the United States; and has consulted with organizations such as Paramount Parks, Disney World and Sea World on voice health and voice building issues.

Mr. Resnik’s students are now performing with the Metropolitan Opera, Chicago Lyric Opera, San Francisco Opera, and Cincinnati Opera, several opera houses in Germany, as well as on Broadway and in regional theatres across the country.

Since 1978, Karl has been the Executive Director of the Musical Arts Center in O'Bryonville. The Center has been prominent in providing the finest music education in the Tri-State. A broad scope of music education opportunities for our over 700 students is provided, with private lessons taught at the main campus in O'Bryonville as well as in Branch and Satellite locations throughout the Cincinnati area.

Mr. Resnik writes music occasionally and arranges pieces for solo voice and chorus as well. He is currently writing a book on singing and hopes to complete this project by December of 2005.
