Yejin Han, from South Korea, received her Bachelor of Music from Chung-Ang University in Seoul, Korea; earned her Master of Music in Piano from the Louisiana State University; and studied for the Artist Diploma at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. She joined the MAC faculty in 1998 as piano instructor. Ms. Han has played numerous concerts throughout the nation as soloist and chamber musician. She has also been an adjudicator for music competitions, and her students have won prizes in competition such as the Clifton Music Scholarship Competition and the World Piano Competition. Because of her community involvement inspiring growing generations through musical activities, Ms. Han received a letter of recognition from the Cincinnati City Council in 2009. She has been appointed Chairperson of the World Piano Competition Regional 2011. She is humbled, but very pleased, to serve young and talented musicians in the greater Cincinnati area and beyond. |
