Liz Comstock is a professional actress, singer and performance coach, based in Cincinnati. She has been acting and singing for a living for over 25 years, and brings a mix of pragmatic technique with a strong focus on character understanding to her coaching. Liz received a B.F.A. in Theatre from Miami University, where she received the Helen Hayes Award for Excellence in Performance. She has also studied acting and musical performance with D. Lynn Meyers, Pamela Meyers, Scot Woolley and Terry La Bolt.
As an actor, Liz has performed in numerous productions in the region, including at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, The Human Race Theatre, The Victoria Theatre, Commonwealth Theatre Company, and The Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center. Liz has also appeared in a variety of television and radio commercials, as well as television pilots. As a singer, Liz regularly performs at special events, cabarets, and entertainment venues in the area, including “Diva Dazzle” fundraiser for AVOC, “The Hits of Sinatra” with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, and is a perennial performer at the “Great Parks Dinner Series.” She is also one of the creators and writers of “The CincinNatalies” – a traveling musical tribute to Rosemary Clooney, Doris Day and other great Cincinnati musical legends – a crowd favorite at events like TallStacks and area casinos.
Liz has helped cast and stage various musical events for The Cincinnati Zoo, Countdown Cincinnati, The American Legion National Convention, and more, as well as on-camera talent casting for local and regional advertising campaigns. Liz has been teaching acting – in group classes and private lessons – since 2005, and especially loves helping actors and singers discover their confidence and inner voice as they prepare to perform.
