Dave is an active free lance musician in the Cincinnati and Chicago areas. He received his Bachelor of Music degree in music performance from WesternIllinoisUniversity and has almost completed his Graduate Degree at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.
As a performer Dave plays with many orchestras including The Quad Cities Symphony, The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, The Springfield Symphony, The Lima Symphony Orchestra, The Hamilton Fairfield Symphony Orchestra, and many others. He has played principle trumpet in the Classical Symphony Orchestra of Chicago as well as the top performing ensembles at both WesternIllinoisUniversity and CCM.
As an active chamber musician and soloist, Dave is a founding member of the Cincinnati Brass Quintet, the Seven Hills Brass Ensemble, and has recorded with the Lamoine Brass Quintet of WIU. He has been a soloist twice with the WIU symphony orchestra, and has also been named a finalist at the National Trumpet Competition, held in Washington DC, in both 2005 and 2006.
