Andrea Caldwell

Voice Teacher

Andrea is delighted to begin teaching at The Musical Arts Center. While earning her Bachelor and Master’s degree in vocal performance, she developed a passion for teaching and showing people of all ages the power of their own voice.

In 1999 she won First Place in the Southeastern Regional Auditions for National Association of Teachers of Singing, and in 2000 took place in the State NATS auditions for Georgia. She performed the role of Mrs. Todd, from Old Maid and the Thief, and she premiered the role of Madame Sonsfeld in Friedrich Hohenzollern, by Larry Corse and Brad Fairchild. She has sung in Master Classes for William Sharpe, Sylvia McNair, and most recently for Grace Bumbry in Salzburg, Austria at the Salzburg Summer Chamber Music Institute, sponsored by Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
